My experience with Nikkan Dance Academy and Tanwi has been amazing. My daughter started learning Bharatnatyam and Kathak three years ago and still loves it. When the Academy offered classes for adults, I jumped on the opportunity and started learning a mix of classical and Bollywood dancing. The classes are so much fun. Tanwi is an exceptionally good teacher and understands the group. Nikkan also organises biannual shows for it's students to perform and showcase their skills.

My daughter started her classes last when she was 4yr. The way Tanwi teacher teaches , interacts and encourages the students made the classes more interesting to my daughter. The Blend of explaining the meaning of each step/mudra and their application as part of theory class and then allowing kids to practice giving them a clear understanding of what they are doing and what it's meant to for and where to apply. Really encourage to opt Nikkan's academy if you are looking for a Indian classical dance.

Tanwi is an excellent classical dancer from India knowing the arts of Bharatnatyam n Kathak. We had Tanwi for Indian Bollywood dance workshop for Winchburgh Community Development Trust. She very well coordinated with kids and adults and made everyone enjoy the art of music, dance and culture.

Midhula has been attending Bharathanaatyam sessions with Nikkan for more than a year. She really enjoys the sessions with Tanwi! Initially she was telling that it is being bit difficult to learn classical. She started to enjoy it within couple of months.
